Funky Ferments Workshop

An introduction to fermented foods, focusing on vegetables with Sasha from Funky Ferments. Learn how to make delicious, nutritious fermented foods yourself with very basic equipment and skills, and get ideas on how to eat them and use them in cooking.
We will look at the theory, history, and science of fermented foods, taste a selection, and then work together to make things for you to take home with you – your own little pet projects. Handouts will be provided with all the information you need to get started at home, including recipes. Exact recipes will be determined closer to the date.
The workshop costs £10 if you bring vegetables (from a list to be provided) and £13 if you don’t.
