GREEN GRANTS FOR BUSINESSES AND GROUPS IN NORTH PEMBROKESHIRE

Invitation to a CLIMATE FUND FAIR
at Fishguard Rugby Club, West Street (by Fishguard Post Office)
Thursday 5th October 2023 from 4 -7pm

This drop-in event will launch the third round of funding from TBG’s Community Climate Fund (CCF) and provide information on how to apply for grants, ranging from a few hundred pounds to a maximum of £6,000, and available from early 2024.
Projects previously funded by CCF will share their experiences of developing practical, community based projects that
• help nature and the climate
• reduce carbon emissions and save money
• develop businesses and community enterprises
• move communities towards a greener, safer future

The programme will include the following:

4pm OPENING
Display stands and information materials, a rolling presentation and people available to talk to about TBG’s community climate fund – what it does and how to apply. All available throughout the event.

4.20pm WELCOME ADDRESS

DISCUSSION GROUPS – for people to gain ideas from some of the projects that have already received CCF grants and to share experiences about how to plan, develop and run projects

4.30pm Growing, cooking, and selling food produced locally and sustainably

5.05pm Conserving resources, cutting carbon emissions and saving money

5.40pm Agricultural projects that care for the environment

6.15pm Making Transport more sustainable

7pm CLOSE

Coffee and tea will be available and snacks and drinks at the Rugby Club bar.
