We are grateful receivers of a £25,000 grant from funds raised by players of People’s Postcode Lottery which will boost TBG’s aim to power the Fishguard and Goodwick area with clean, green energy by 2035.
We will use the grant to install solar panels on 2-3 local households, providing them with cheaper electricity. TBG will own, operate and maintain the PV systems, and put the income towards creating a self-funding solar PV installation cycle. This pilot project will be aimed at those on lower incomes, but with more income and funding, the longer term aim is to roll out this programme more widely across our community.
