Join Us For An Informal Ideas Forum at Tenby House
As a supporter of Transition Bro Gwaun we would like to extend an invitation for you to join us at an inaugural Green Gathering, otherwise known as TBG’s ‘Ideas Forum’ on Thursday 20th August 2026.
This is the first of a series of regular informal gatherings open to anyone with an interest in finding new and innovative ways of addressing the climate and nature crisis. The ‘Ideas Forum’ is being launched to aid better communication between TBG and our community at large, for mutual benefit.
Although intended to be informal and as widely inclusive as possible, to be effective there will need to be some structure, particularly at the first event on the 20th. Hence the following agenda is proposed:
- 7:00 Welcome and introductions.
- 7:05 A brief history of how TBG has worked previously, and recent changes.
- 7:15 Open to the floor for suggestions as to how TBG can best further its aims, in line with our mission statement of ‘inspiring our community towards a sustainable future by nurturing projects which address the climate and nature crisis. We aim to bring people together to harness the skills and contributions of all.’
- 8:15 Summing up of the points discussed and how these are taken to TBG’s management group.
- Date/time of next meeting.
We plan to finish by 8.30. There will be hot drinks and biscuits available – you are welcome to bring other refreshments if you wish and please invite others as this is an open meeting.
