TBG is developing a community renewable energy project (REAP) in the Fishguard and Goodwick area. Building on the success of our pioneering community wind turbine, we now have Welsh Government funding to develop a range of initiatives, to include:
- Repowering TBG’s existing wind turbine
- Sizing and implementing farm-based rooftop solar installations
- Investigating the feasibility of a substantial hydrogen generation project linked to a ground-based solar array
- Engaging local people in initiatives which aim to enable every home, business and community group in the area to access local affordable renewable energy by 2035
