Green Grant Awards Winners 2024
We are delighted to announce that TBG’s Community Climate Fund (CCF) has awarded just over £20,000 to local businesses and organisations for their green projects:
In 2024 we awarded £20,917 to six projects with individual grants ranging between £1415 to £5560:
- Theatr Gwaun to insulate their loft to reduce heating loss
- Parc Cerrig Growers for developing a rainwater harvesting system with a pond to irrigate their allotments
- Fishguard and Goodwick Rugby Club for installation of a back up battery bank for the solar panels we’ve already funded in 2023
- Caerhys Organic Community Agriculture for an electric cargo bike for delivering organic vegetables in the Fishguard and St Davids areas
- Fishguard Sports AFC to insulate their Club building to reduce heating loss
- Nevern Valley Veg to develop wildlife ponds and rainwater harvesting for food production
