Would you like to become a renewable energy champion?

Transition Bro Gwaun (TBG), with the help of funding from the UK Government through UK Shared Prosperity Fund, is driving forward the development of an ambitious and exciting community renewable energy project in the Fishguard and Goodwick area. The aim is  to explore, assess and develop a range of new initiatives whilst enhancing and developing the current community wind turbine initiative which has returned over £76,000 worth in grants to local initiatives via our Community Climate Fund.

An important aspect of this work is to increase understanding of and develop more expertise in renewable energy within our area. To that end TBG are seeking the support of volunteers. To become a volunteer you do not need to have a great deal of knowledge in the field of renewable energy but an interest in the subject will be an advantage and an enthusiasm to help the project launch. There will be induction training  on offer at the end of July and a chance to attend events in the Fishguard & Goodwick area through the Summer and Autumn to help TBG promote the project.

You can also get in touch with us here or come and see us in person at our new office at 8A Main Street, Fishguard every Wednesday 4-6pm and Thursday 11am-1pm. 😊
